This Week

 This week we've been relaxing a lot.  This is Elizabeth Magee's new place to relax -- in the tray that used to sit on my coffee table but that has been moved to the floor to keep someone from pulling it down.  She is obsessed with this tray and has been for months -- not exactly sure why it's so interested but she loves it....

 We've also been packing my suit case for a little girls trip with my mom and sister....when I asked her how she felt about spending her weekend with Daddy:

 Just kidding -- I think he's more scared than she is!  I know they will have lots and lots of fun...

Father's Day & Five Years of Marriage

 We had a great weekend full of celebrations -- my dear friend came to spend Friday night with us -- Elizabeth Magee and Leigh Allyn had a fine time together.  Since I refuse to jump off the side of the pool or dive, Leigh Allyn is going to give Elizabeth Magee swimming lessons next summer.

 On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day.  Right after I took this picture, Elizabeth Magee tumbled upside down for about 10 seconds.  She got over it pretty quick --- I'm pretty sure it scared her Daddy more than her.

Oliver's mom posted this picture on Facebook today -- how sweet and innocent those three look! 

On Saturday we celebrated our five anniversary with a baby free night (thanks Siggi and Granddaddy) and a wonderful dinner at Sweet Grass. 

Father's Day

 Happy Father's Day DaDa!  You are the best, most fun dad ever.  Of course, you learned to be a great dad from your great dad....I do love my Pops....and Wilson and that extra big basket of toys at his house....

 And Happy Father's Day to my other grandfather....Granddaddy is pretty fun also (even if he tells me no sometimes).....but it's only cause I'm the first grandchild and he doesn't have the whole give-me-everything-I want-now-downpat like Siggi does.....but it's ok....he'll learn....I'm teaching him and we are going to have a super long lesson this weekend!  I bet I have a pony or two by Sunday :) 

I talk about my dad all the time.  He's so much fun.  I used to make him do things by just looking at him....but now I'm big enough to say "DaDa" and just yesterday I said "Daddy"  (I hadn't seen him in a few days and thought I'd make him feel extra special)

I like to rough house on his bed...it's kinda my favorite place to play inside.......

 This is the picture of me and Daddy that I keep my by bed.  I tell it goodnight - EVERY NIGHT. 

 Sometimes, when it's cold outside, Daddy doesn't make me wear shoes....that's always fun!

I love you Daddy!  I love you Pops!  I love you Granddaddy!

Ann Curry

Oliver has been in New York City this week on business.  On his way home this morning, he swung by the Today Show to tell Ann and Matt good morning......the picture is not that clear but it made my day!

Lately

 Oliver came home Friday with a new Cozy Coup for Elizabeth Magee.  She was very interested in helping him assemble the car.  I imagine she's already put about 5 mile on it....up and down the sidewalk -- morning, noon, and night.  We even brought it inside for the last few days because the weather has been rainy.

Sunday we celebrated Thomas's first birthday.  Let me tell you --- these babies LOVE some cupcakes.  Yesterday they got to each have one mini-cup cake after lunch -- both threw FITS to have a second......

Royals

Does everyone love the Royals as much as me?  I saw this picture on Pinterest today and think it is very inspiring -- even if you aren't a "Royal Watcher."  Happy Hump Day!
