Leftover Pizza

 Oliver spent 15 hours this past weekend smoking a boston butt.  He started about 6 p.m. on Saturday night and we ate at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.  This is how I found him Sunday morning.  He slept on the sofa Saturday night because his timer when off constantly...he said he slept about four hours Saturday night.

 While we waited for the meat to cook, we ordered pizza from Highpoint for dinner. 

 Instead of leftover pizza on Sunday night, we made Pizza Quiche -- I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it was great! 

The receipe:

2 pieces pizza, chopped into 1/2 inch cubes
1 tablespoon EVVO
2 1/2 cups spinach, cooked
1 glove garlic
6 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 t. Italian seasoning
black pepper
parmesan cheese

Combine all ingredents and put in an 8 inch greased casserole dish.  Sprinke the Parmesan cheese on top.  Bake 375 for 20 to 25 mintues...

 We didn't have spinach so we used more pizza and more cheese....fabulous!

Friday night, my dad and mom came to play with Elizabeth Magee.  Granddaddy and Elizabeth Magee are big buddies....they picked figs off of a neighbors tree......

Sis posted this picture on her blog today and it made me smile.  Does she have a perm?  Do I have a boys haircut?  How did we get bids?  But besides my wedding and Elizabeth Magee's first birthday --- Bid Day was one of the best days of my life (can you say brainwashed by grandmother at a very young age???)

Here are some other things that made me smile:

I ordered this tiny tote for Elizabeth Magee's first day of Mother's Morning Out -- it's August 15th and I'm so nervous about it!  The tote came in yesterday with initial that read:  eMw.  Opps.  Luckily, they let me send it back for a full refund and sent me a new one.  If you order one, call and double check the monogram because the online form is misleading!

Art on Fire -- Oliver and I were asked to co-chair this event several months ago.  It's been an AMAZING experience and we are so excited about the event!  Mark your calendars.  On another note, I took Elizabeth Magee with me to our meeting last night.   It was her "first" meeting but she did great.  I had packed a bag full of new toys (yes, I went to target at lunch and got her 3 new toys)...she didn't touch any of them...she played with ice the whole time. 

Lastly, Oliver's cousin, Kathleen, has a super cute blog....she featured a necklace from an Etsy shop not to long ago...hers was red and super cute so I ordered this one....LOVE IT....

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  We don't have very many plans and I'm looking forward to relaxing with my family!

3, 2, and 1

 We had a little Williams family pool party at my grandmother's house yesterday.  It's a nice little meeting place half-way in between Greenwood and Memphis.  I REALLY wanted to get a good picture of Elizabeth Magee with her sweet cousins- but trying to get a shot of a three year old, two year old, and one year old is not easy......

Putting Pop in the picture didn't help any.......

This is the closet one to cute except Pop's not looking and we are missing Beckett!

First Haircut

 Elizabeth Magee has had a little bit of a mullet for the past month or so but I've been to chicken to get her haircut.  When Leigh Allyn was in town a few weeks ago I tried to get her to cut it but she wouldn't....I guess I don't blame her but I had no idea where to go.  Then last weekend another mom at the pool said to take her to Fantastic Sams....so Friday afternoon...we went on a whim.  It was a GREAT experience.  They were super friendly and she just sat in my lap.  I had them trim my hair so she could see what was going to happen....not one tear and it looks so much better.  My mom suprised her with about 15 bows yesterday morning and she loves her "bo".....

Sunday Elizabeth Magee had her first boat experience and I skied for the first time in two years -- I can still do it!
