Week Away

Elizabeth Magee is spending the week at my parents.  Mom and I met in Tupelo on Wednesday and she is staying until next Wednesday --  I miss my little buddy but know she's having a great time and I am enjoying extra cuddle time with Mary Thorne and Poppy.  We put up the Johnny Jumper on Saturday morning and both seem to enjoy it!

Mary Thorne got the jumping part down real quick.

Elizabeth Magee is living the life -- going skiing, playing with Pete, swimming at Nets, and getting to be spoiled rotten by her grands and great-grands!

Country Bumpkin --- i think these were my overalls -- they stay in Senatobia!

Church

Oliver took a few pictures of me and the girls before church on Sunday -- we have so much to be thankful for -- mostly these three precious girls!

I can't believe the twins were 16 weeks on Saturday -- both have turned into rolling machines and are pushing up on their elbows -- I think they are going to crawl a lot faster than Elizabeth Magee did.  We had our first major big sister mess up on Saturday.  As I was getting out of the shower I noticed Elizabeth Magee dragging her baby doll by the gown from the living room to the hall -- except it was Mary Thorne and not a baby doll  -- YIKES -- of course I freaked out but Mary Thorne was fine -- she looked a little excited that her big sister had decided to play with her!

Our Fourth

We had friends over to cook out for the 4th and EM and I decided to make something special for the kiddos.....EM loves to make Rice Crispy Treats....so these were right up her alley as we talked about America's birthday (and sang Happy Birthday to America 52 times).

All you did was divide the butter and marshmellows in thirds and add food coloring for each layer.

Both twins got a cold over the weekend and were miserable Saturday and Sunday.  Thank goodness for Biscuit and Poppy who came to stay for the weekend.  I don't think I would have made it to Monday without them!  Elizabeth Magee now distinguishes the Poppys by saying "baby Poppy and Big Girl Poppy."

Not sure what is on Elizabeth Magee's face in this picture -- but isn't it precious?  Mary Thorne is in the white and Poppy in the yellow.  When Elizabeth Magee wants to hold one baby she says, "I hold it?" Her favorite is to hold both babies and she says, "like mama does."  We are so blessed!

Popsicles!

Siggi came for a quick visit last week....Elizabeth Magee was in heaven....basically I didn't see her or Siggi for the 18 hours Siggi was in town!

14 weeks this past Saturday!  Poppy likes the bumbo much more than Mary Thorne.  Mary Thorne has rolled over several times now!

I love a naked baby :)

Mary Thorne coos for us constantly....she's going to be a talker....just like her big sister.
